Oatmeal Studios has released three new cards in the Jensen line. Find ‘em at a store near you – if you don’t see them, ask your local gift shop or card store to stock them!
Or at least to East Aurora, NY. Once again, the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Cartoonist Society was tapped to judge a category for the annual awards (aka the “Reubens”). This year we looked at editorial cartoons – and what a category it was. Amazing talent was evident throughout the many entries received; this was NOT an easy job, even for the sturdy crew shown above: Frank Mariani, our gracious host Graham Nolan, Randy Elliott, yours truly, Sandra Bell-Lundy (who joined us from Canada), and Jason Yungbluth. The three finalists will be announced in a few weeks, and the winner will be announced at the NCS Awards Reuben Awards this May, in San Diego, CA.
Several new Digby’s comic strips have been added. Have a peek – click the “Gallery” tab above.
I’ll be adding some of the latest Oatmeal Studios greeting cards in the next few days, too!
Once again, it was time for the Upstate NY Chapter of the National Cartoonist Society to convene at Graham Nolan’s digs in East Aurora to judge one of the categories in the NCS Annual Awards (aka the “Reubens”). This year we were pleased to have our friend from the North, Canadian cartoonist Sandra Bell-Lundy, join us for the judging. And yes – refreshments were served.
Okay, it’s not for my cartoon work, but I’ll take it!
The logo was designed for my friends at Headwaters Trails, and it has received an American Graphic Design Award. We’re all mighty happy!
